Your new company
A leading contractor with decades of reputable trading history behind them are now looking for a Managing Surveyor to support in the running of the Commercial team whilst delivering various contracts/ frameworks for public sector clients and local authorities including refurbishment, extensions and new build.

Your new role
You will oversee various contracts, which are often negotiated, 2 stage bids. You will be responsible for pricing works and then delivering these schemes through to completion. You will also oversee the day to day running of the commercial team and contracts, ensuring junior members of the commercial team are supported and up to date with ongoing training and progression plans. You will maximise the profitability of contracts within your remit, and will also work to build strong client relationships.

What you'll need to succeed
Experience pricing and running traditional and D&B contracts for public sector clients and local authorities is essential for this role. Experience with negotiated works and 2 stage bids is also ideal. Previous management experience is not essential.
