Are you a Revit proficient Part II seeking to work for a busy little practice in central London? I'm on the search for just such an individual, in fact I'm on the search for 2. This is a permanent opportunity with a salary in the bracket circa £25-30,000 pa depending on experience.
For this position it is vital you have fluency in the use of Revit as you'll be expected to hit the ground running with this. You'll need at least 2 years solid and regular Revit experience to be considered. You'll also need 2 years industry experience in general. This position will be working within RIBA stages 0-4 so as a result it's important you hold the relevant design capabilities, you'll be assisting with the concept design and will be required to present to client from time to time as well as produce reports. Your communication ability will need to be a high standard, both to coordinate between teams as well as to work alongside clients throughout the design process.
A large part of this role will be putting together planning applications so it's vital you have knowledge and experience, you'll need a solid understand of UK building regulations. Occasionally you'll dip into the technical side and assist with putting together detailing packages as well. Experience with working to tight deadlines would be a bonus. The work will predominantly be within the residential sector, typically small-medium sized developments of around 100 units in size. You may also have the opportunity to work on commercial and retail schemes so there is a level of variety in this position.
