I am seeking a PLANNER (Planning Engineer) who speaks fluent or good German (ideally English too).
The project is a large pharmaceutical plant based in SWITZERLAND.
My client would ideally like permanent staff but will also consider contract / freelance too.
You will report to the Lead Planner and help to manage an assistant planner.
You will use Primavera P6 and Oracle Unifier.
You will implement the day to day schedule requirements of the PEP to meet the requirements of a project in line with the PEM and PCM processes.
You will set up and monitor frequently monthly progress contract and reporting in line with PEP requirements.
You will monitor and review key performance indicators to benchmark individual disciplines and collective project performance.
You will resolve schedule issues and queries.
You will organise and conduct scheduling meetings to obtain updates from the project team and ensure that accurate distribution of information to ensure project milestones are met.
You will do project reviews, schedule workshops, create baseline schedules plus participate in risk and opportunity management meetings to assess risks etc.
My client is a British firm of construction consultants who are working closely with a large firm on this role in Switerland.
You will be an experienced Planning Engineer who has several years or more working as a planning engineer.
You must speak good or fluent German plus English.
You must have good experience in the use of Primavera P6 and be fully conversant with Oracle Unifier.
You should have previous experience of working on either Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Life Sciences, Process or Oil & Gas projects and you should have worked on projects with a lot of pipework and manufacturing plant or similar.
You should be able to manage an assistant planner.
You must have excellent communication and organisation skills.
