Tier 2 Contractor with exceptional employee brand seeks Project Manager for £15million project in Edinburgh.

Our client are a medium size tier 2 contractor who have operations across the UK but with a focus on Scotland and the North of England. Privately owned with a strong balance sheet they can offer their staff members the opportunity to work on well resourced projects with healthy margins built in.
Due to a recent project win they are seeking the services of an experienced construction project manager who can join their business and take on a £15million education project in Edinburgh.
Your new role
As Project Manager you will be responsible for the successful delivery of £15million newbuild and refurbishment education project in Edinburgh. You will be involved and lead at every stage of the project from procurement and methodology to managing the client relationship and your commercial and operational expertise will see this project delivered in a profitable manner. You will also be required to manage your site team effectively and resolve any issues which develop onsite with subcontractors.This project is a new project which is due to commence over the next 6 weeks and our client are ready to hire their PM immediately.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate has extensive construction management experience as both a site manager or project manager. Our client are willing to consider experienced site managers looking to step up but you must have a good understanding of the commercial elements of a project and how they get delivered. Of course an experienced construction project manager with demonstrated expertise in the successful delivery of medium size commercial projects up to £10million will be highly regarded. Exceptional leadership skills and well rounded construction knowledge are essential.
