This 30-year-old contractor has an impressive background (and order book) in design & build construction and interior fit-out works.

There is an immediate role within their subcontractor services side of the business (Carpentry & Joinery) for a Project Manager to run the £9m carpentry & joinery on this prestigious scheme . The company is supporting a Tier 1 contractor to transform a landmark tower into a contemporary and sustainable Grade A office development. The company will deliver all carpentry, joinery and toilet works packages in this 30-storey building.

The role - in short:
·    Day to day control and delivery of the site to meet customer specification (quality, time,
etc.) such that all risk, specification and project timescales are met in full.

Required Skills and Attributes:
·    Strong knowledge of Carpentry & Joinery obtained through a combination of experience (with carpntry & joinery companies) and education (ideally City & Guilds in the craft).
·    Excellent man management skills
·    Strong self-management skills to ensure timely issue of project deliverables
·    Commercial, financially and contractually aware with good communication, inter-personal and
negotiation skills
