Your new role
This role is to over an initial defined period of 9 months and requires an experienced quantity surveyor join their business. Based in the modern offices in the Central Belt you will be responsible for managing multiple projects ensuring they are hitting commercial targets. From ensuring timely progress claims are made for payment to capturing and documenting variations this will be a busy project focused role for an experienced quantity surveyor. You will be constantly in communication with your main contractors ensuring that projects are running according to plan and developing positive relationships with your client base. You will be expected to deliver cost reports to your directors monthly.
What you'll need to succeed
Our client are seeking an experienced quantity surveyor who has significant experience of working within a newbuild housing facing contractor or subcontractor. You will be degree qualified and enjoy being busy working ion multiple projects and with multiple clients.
What you'll get in return
This is an initial contract position but there will be opportunities to extend this contract or make this move permanent. A competitive hourly rate will be paid to the right candidate.
