Cognisant are delighted to be retained to appoint a Sales & Marketing Director on behalf of a major, quality housebuilder, operating across the wider South Midlands. The client has an absolute commitment to the customer, with sales and marketing playing a key part in this relationship. The role is exceptionally broad, and you will have responsibility for; appraising new sites, marketing & PR, show homes, online and sales delivery, legal aspects and of course, team development and leadership.

Key responsibilities and skills:

• Achieve targets set by the board in relation to sales, revenue, margin, and budget management with regards selling overheads and marketing/advertising costs
• Vision, strategy and Implementation of all sales environments and marketing material
• Lead the focus on customer service to enhance the reputation of the company, increase profitability and achieve customer satisfaction targets
• Offer true leadership to the sales and marketing teams, developing and progressing talent
• As a member of the senior leadership team, play a key role in guiding the business to achieve its aims

We are keen to speak with housebuilding sales professionals who have a proven track record in leading multi-site sales teams. You could either be an existing sales director or a senior sales manager ready to make the step up within a supported environment. You have a broad sales & marketing skill set, able to work with volume and have the want to further develop your career.
