Senior MEP Engineer - Dutch speaking

THE ROLE

My client is seeking a SENIOR MEP ENGINEER to work as a PROJECT MANAGER based in Amsterdam working on projects across the Benelux region.

You will need to speak and write in Dutch and English and to have experience of working on MEP building services projects in the Netherlands to be up to date with EU regulations, standards and statory requirements.

Projects will be varied across a good range of building types.

Duties will include MEP technical due diligence reporting for acquisition and disposal, development monitoring, MEP Project Management, MEP budget costing etc.

This role will provide a great opportunity for an ambitious MEP Project Engineer to be a key player in the growth of the MEP business across the Benelux region.

THE COMPANY

My client is a successful and friendly firm of construction and property consultants operating in the UK and also in Western Europe.

THE CANDIDATE

You should have at least six years or more experience post qualification as an MEP Engineer.

You will need to have some experience of two of the following:- technical due diligence, project management, development monitoring.

You must have good report writing and communication skills and be able to deal with people at all levels.

You must have knowledge and experience of all mechanical and electrical building engineering systems to include electrical distribution systems, air conditioning systems including VRV, VAV, chilled water systems with a knowledge of older systems, ventilation systems including heat recovery, Heating systems including heat generation, distribution and terminal unit types, Controls and BMS, Fire Alarms, security and access systems, Lifts (general non-specialist knowledge).

Salary is in the region of Euro 65000 to 75000 per annum or a bit more with a good benefits package too.
