Senior Project Manager

THE ROLE

I am seeking a SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER with 15 years + experience in construction to join a large firm of construction consultants to work initially in Dubai then moving on site to the Maldives.

The project is a high end hotel resort.

Experience of working for one of the known firms of construction consultants is required along with previous experience of working on hotels / resorts and having previously worked in the Middle East or similar.

THE COMPANY

My client is a large international firm of construction consultants providing Project Management and Cost Management services.

They have a selection of long standing clients and are extremely busy.

THE CANDIDATE

You will be a Senior Project Manager with a Degree or MSc in Construction Project Management or similar Built Environment subject.

Ideally you will be MRICS or similarly qualified.

You will need to have previous experience of working on large high end hotel / resort projects.

You need to have at least 15 years or more project management experience.

My client is seeking someone who has worked for one of the known firms of construction consultants.

The ideal candidate will have worked in the Middle East or similar on a high value hotel / resort project.

You should be able to organise and run meetings, take minutes, make sure that the client's brief is adhered to and be able to keep the project moving towards completion both on time and within budget.

You must have excellent written and spoken English and be confident in dealing with people at all levels including architects, consulting engineers, contractors and stakeholders.

You should be forward thinking and ambitious with excellent client facing skills.

Salary will be negotiable and as the role will be based in Dubai for around 6 months a hotel room or similar will be provided whilst there.
