Senior Quantity Surveyor - Qatar

THE ROLE

I am now seeking a SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR or Contracts or Commercial Manager in DOHA, QATAR for a site based role on a high value mixed use projects including a hotel, offices, residential.

This role is for around two years.

You must either be currently working in Qatar or be going back there shortly and have a current visa to work in Qatar.

The work is now all post contract so my client is happy to take someone from a main contractor or from a consultants background.

THE CLIENT

My client is a firm of Chartered Quantity Surveying consultants with one office in Qatar.

THE CANDIDATE

You will be a Degree qualified Quantity Surveyor and your BSc or BSc Hons must be in Quantity Surveying or Construction Economics or Commercial Management.

You must also be MRICS qualified as a Quantity Surveyor.

You will have worked for either a known firm of main contractors or for a firm of quantity surveying consultants.

Excellent client facing skills are essential and the ability to head up meetings.

You should be able to supervise others.

Because of the current Covid-19 situation only candidates that are either already in Qatar whose role is coming to an end or candidates who have a current work visa for Qatar will be considered.

Salary is in the region of 40000 QAR per month to 45000 QAR per month slightly negotiable plus health insurance, bonus etc.
