Senior Structural Engineer

THE ROLE

A great opportunity for a SENIOR STRUCTURAL ENGINEER to join my client, a firm of structural engineering consultants based in SW London.

You will need to have completed your Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and you may already be chartered or be close to becoming chartered.

You must have at least four years or more experience with another firm of consulting engineers.

You will mainly work on high end residential and projects along with some commercial projects.

Initial projects will include new build care homes.

You will help the associate in managing more junior engineers and in running projects.

THE COMPANY

Our client is a successful smallish firm of structural engineering consultants.

They offer excellent ongoing training and CPD and a friendly working environment.

THE CANDIDATE

You will need to have a Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and possibly an MSc or MEng too. You may also be chartered.

You must have four years or more U.K. experience working as a Structural Engineer with another firm of engineering consultants.

You should be keen to work on a range of residential and similar projects from Basement Design, Temporary Works, Loft Conversions, high end internal re fits and more.

Some experience of running your own projects is preferred.

Good communication skills are essential to be able to deal with clients and the professional team. Also experience of liaising with the clients etc.

Salary is very negotiable.
