Site Manager for interior fit-out company

Your new company

You will be working for a main contractor within the interior fit-out sector with prestigious clients across the UK & Ireland.

The company are going through a period of growth and expansion of their capabilities so this is a very exciting time to be joining them.

Based in York but with operatives based remotely they are looking for a site manager to cover a growing portfolio of projects across Scotland.

Your new role

As site manager you will hold overall responsibility for the successful completion of primarily fast-track retail fit-outs.

This will encompass everything from initial site setup through to adjustment of programmes, sub contractor management and health & safety management.

You will be the main point of contact for the clients on a day to day basis and as such you will be reporting regularly to both internal and external stakeholders.

What you'll need to succeed

You will have a proven track record of successful project completion in a similar, fast paced and high spec environment.

Your attention to detail and ability to deliver an incredibly high standard of finish under pressure will be essential in this role. This should be evidenced in previous roles and projects previously managed.

With the fast-track nature of the work carried out this is not a role for the feint-hearted... the hours can be long, there could be weekend work and you could be working nights occasionally. A strong work ethic is a must!

In leading by example you will ensure that the whole site team, including sub-contractors, are working to the best of their ability at all times.

As a semi-remote role you must be self motivated and have the ability to work autonomously in order to make decisions quickly and effectively as required.
