Busy tier 3 Builder Requires site manager to join their business.
Your New Company
Our client are well established tier 3 builder with significant footprint across the public sector market in Scotland. They are poised to commence multiple projects across the Central Belt and Fife and are seeking to add an experienced Site Manager to their team on a permanent basis.
Your New Role
The first project you will be working on is a publicly funded social housing scheme in the Central Belt. This is a development of 35 houses which is due to commence over the next few weeks and requires an experienced site manager to lead its construction. As Site Manager you will be responsible for managing and organising the site ensuring it hits its operational, quality and safety targets. Supported by an experienced contracts manager your daily activities will be organising subcontractors , communicating with project stakeholders such as clerk of works and your client and nurturing a safe and positive work environment on the project. You will be the leader on this project and your input will define its success.
What you will require
Our client are seeking an experienced site manager who has experienced of working on social housing projects previously. Our client operate across the publicly funded market so candidates with a mixture of schools, community infrastructure and housing will be regarded. You will be a joiner by trade and have well developed knowledge of building methodologies and have a deep understanding of site operations and site safety. You will require an up to date SMSTS and First AID certificate.
