A SE London based main contractor specialising in local authority refurbishment now seek an experienced site manager for a newly awarded scheme in Bromley. The company are a respected local contractor working across greater London on internal and external refurbishment schemes typically occupied properties with project values of between £550k - £1.5 mill, With a very low staff turnover and a strong retained client base they are a particularly stable business with guaranteed future workload.
Your new role
As Site Manager your first project will be an External Refurbishment scheme In greater Bromley, The project is primarily a re-roofing scheme to an existing tower block which also includes associated balcony, Painting and other associated elements. Project value approximately 600k with a programme of 32 weeks.
As Site manager you be no.1 on site reporting to a visiting Contracts manager, You will be responsible for the management & organisation of sub-contractors and direct trades aswell as ensuring H&S on site, anticipating and addressing any issues with the programme, design etc and general day to day troubleshooting and recording of information.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a site manager experienced in managing 'Decent homes' or external refurbishment schemes, you will have valid First aid, cscs & smsts qualifications and be looking for a long term role in the SE London area.
What you'll get in return
Salary is £45,000 - £50,000 depending on experience, Future works will be in the South London area,
