Your new role

  • To carry out an effective engineering schedule of preventative maintenance on utilities plant and equipment.
  • To assist with continuous improvement plans, targeted at existing plant up time.
  • To ensure that plant and services equipment is maintained, serviced and calibrated to guarantee the safety, legality and quality of our products.
  • To carry the planned maintenance, servicing and repair of all utilities plant and equipment to the required standards and against the agreed schedule and budgets set
  • To actively engage plant improvements, which will ensure plant availability, deliver energy saving benefits whilst minimising utilities plant downtime and increasing plant reliability

  • To carry out daily scheduled reading, testing, corrective action and input data into Energy Desktop

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience in plant improvement , minimising down time and identifying cost saving opportunities and plant efficiency.
  • Have a recognised engineering trade apprenticeship or multi skilled and /or minimum HNC in an engineering.
  • Experience in plant environment
  • Electrical qualification
  • Engineering experience within the FMCG or Utilities sector (preferred)
  • Boiler operation accreditation scheme (BOAS) (preferred)
