A national facilities and maintenance contractor is currently looking for a regional Facilities Manager to commence a long term temporary assignment. You will be required to travel across Devon & Cornwall, overseeing a number of sites on a prestigious government contract.
You will be reporting to the Operations Director, responsible for a total FM contract which will include all hard and soft services. This will include cleaning, catering, maintenance, waste, security and small works. The client is also looking for someone with a mechanical or electrical background. You will be required to lead a large team and have full budgetary control for the sites under your remit.
This is initial a temporary requirement but with the chance that it could become permanent. The client is looking for a candidate who has experience of running similar contracts in their previous career. A certain amount of travel is required, so the ideal candidate would already be based with Devon & Cornwall. The hourly rate on offer is dependent on your qualifications and experience, but the client would be looking to offer between £20 -25 per hour with full travel expenses paid.
