An opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to work on a major new contract with a four year duration. As part of a new team in a new project office, you will be involved in a very important framework for the company and be looking to progress within a successful £100m turnover business. As one of a team of Quantity Surveyors reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day surveying on a repair and maintenance contract within the utilities sector. Office - based, you will be responsible for the accurate recording of commercial information on lump sum and measured works on a very fast moving contract.
Previous experience with a contractor, either general construction or civil engineering or utilities is key and also the ability to process large volumes of data and use an in house system is important.
