Menasa & Partners are interviewing for an experienced Airport Master Planner for a busy Engineering Consulting Firm. The location is Sydney though the projects may be regional and even international. We are looking for an Airport Master Planner that plan an entire airport and not just portions of it; an Airport Master Planner that has Master Planned large capacity airports with multiple purposes including bulk freight, passengers, livestock and more. There will be travel, feasibility studies and business development as part of the role and responsibilities will include:

  • Airport master plans, airport layout plans, site selection studies, obstruction analysis, forecasting, noise and environmental evaluations, sustainability evaluations, etc.
  • Airline terminal building planning (e.g., sizing, layout, aprons, integration)
  • Landside and Airside planning and associated civil planning
  • Technical scope of proposal development
  • Tender and bid submissions
  • Client liaison


  • Bachelor’s degree in Planning, Civil Engineering or related discipline required. Master’s degree in related disciplines preferred
  • 7+ years’ experience in airport master planning
  • Strong communication skills
  • Australian Work Rights
