Architect

If working for an AJ100 practice is your thing then look no further. I'm currently assisting one the big hitters in the UK Architectural market in the hunt for an Architect. This is a permanent position with a salary circa £40,000 depending on experience. 

You'll need at least 3 years PQE to be considered for this one. It's a great position for you all-rounders out there, job running experience would be highly beneficial but you'll need to be at least comfortable with the front end design RIBA stages as well as the delivery stages. Your level of communication will need to be high, be it dealing with clients, contractors and coordinating between teams. This is a role for people seeking a clear path to progress within the company and as a result any experience with leading small-medium sized projects would be ideal with the view that you're level of responsibility will increase in this area over time.

A diverse portfolio would suit however you'll need a tendency to focus more on the residential side of things with experience on some large scale developments in the UK. Any knowledge of working on 500+ unit developments would be ideal, you'll also need to have sound knowledge of UK building regulations. Your time management is key as you'll be working on multiple projects at a time. 

Revit fluency is a must, you should have at least 2 years live experience using the software as you'll need to be using Revit regularly from the first week. On top of this you should be able to produce design presentations with The Adobe Suite and SketchUp.
