In your new job role you will be working for a growing consultancy based in the West Midlands, working directly alongside a experienced chartered Building Surveyor.
Your new role
In your new job role you will be working in support of a company director and chartered Building Surveyor, working on varied projects within commercial and education sectors. Your new role will involve; managing your own projects acting as Contract Administrator and as an assistant on larger projects under the supervision of the Director, you will have the opportunity to prepare Schedules of Dilapidation and Schedules of Condition, you will have opportunities to pursue a role as Party Wall Surveyor acting for Building Owners and Adjoining Owners, you will undertake Planned Maintenance Surveys and reports and assist and learn about RICS Homebuyers Survey and Valuation reports.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in this role you will be a passionate Building Surveyor looking to develop your career and skillset whilst progressing your APC. You will have knowledge of Building Regulations and Planning Applications and have at least 12 months demonstrable work experience and ideally have completed a minimum 12 months of your APC. You must have a clean driving license.
