Associate or Director Urban Design

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Urban Designer / Director to join one of the UK's leading multi-disciplinary development consultancy. This is an associate /director level job with a salary up to £60.000 depending on experience.

You will be working closely with a team of designers and architects and lead on the preparation of conceptual urban design and planning work, feasibility studies, master planning, development briefs and design strategies for residential, mixed-use schemes and other sectors. Ideally you worked in a private practice or a commercial house building operation. To be successful in the role you need to have experience in master planning and residential layout design. To have excellent management skills and being able to lead a team is a must!

This is a large practice with  several offices in the UK working in a variety of sectors. You'll need to have knowledge of CAD software packages, experience in Vectorworks and/or Sketchup would be an advantage.
