Associate Quantity Surveyor / Team Leader

THE ROLE

I am seeking an Associate Quantity Surveyor / Team Leader for a large infrastructure project in Poland.

You will need to speak both fluent English and good or fluent Polish.

You will work on a huge infrastructure project which will last for many years.

Previous experience of new build highways / rail / airports required.

THE COMPANY

My client is a large international firm of construction consultants.

THE CANDIDATE

You will be a Senior Quantity Surveyor by training and be working at Associate, Associate Director or Director level.

Ideally you will be MRICS or similarly qualified although not essential.

You should be have experience of working for a firm of PQS / construction consultants or possibly client-side.

You must have experience of all pre and post contract quantity surveying work including cost estimating, budget management, cost reporting, value management, risk management etc. and be able to work closely with the project management team and the client.

You must have significant experience of working on large infrastructure projects with specific experience of new build airport projects essential, and be able to be in charge of a very large construction projects of high value with many different aspects.

Experience of managing the cost for both buildings and civil engineering aspects of the project essential.

Experience of running a large team essential.

This role will last for many years so someone with a stable work record is essential.

Salary in the range of £95000 to £100000 (500000 Zloty) per annum plus accommodation allowance, travel allowance and other benefits.
