Your new role
The main purpose of the Health & Safety Assistant is to provide a full health, safety and environment service to the project site or sites. This will include the implementation and administration of Group SHE policies, procedures and the identification of risks to health and safety and the provision of advice and support to managers and leaders within the business to eradicate, reduce and manage those risks appropriately. This will include time spent travelling offsite to structural projects within a geographical area.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have a relevant 3rd level degree in a related discipline; health, safety, environmental, engineering, construction or similar including NEBOSH certificate. Ideally you will have at least 1 years' suitable experience, but this is not essential. This role will require weekly travel to Dublin, Monday to Friday however all travel and expenses will be covered. This is a junior role and as such the salary will be reflective of the position.
