An exciting opportunity for a leading university. My client has recently opened a new campus based in London. Due to this a position for a Facilities Operations Manager has been created.

Your new role
Looking for an individual that will ensure operational activities run smoothly and efficiently and promote professionalism by maintaining good supplier relations. Supporting operational asset management and advise the Associate Pro Vice Chancellor on required procurement for the University.

What you'll need to succeed
You should be able to manage day-to-day operational aspects in liaison with the wider staff. Building and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure the operational delivery meets business needs. The individual must manage operational communication, maintaining relationships with all key team members to communicate status reports, senior management requests, change processes and manage and address issues. Support in managing budgets and controlling expenditure, using data and reporting initiatives. You must be able to put in place and maintain up-to-date H&S procedures and be the first point of contact for any H&S related issues or queries. Creating standard operating procedures and guidance manuals for operational areas of responsibility and establish means of controlling and auditing effectively operational processes are being followed.
