Part-Time Maintenance Surveyor job on a 12 month Fixed-Term Contract

Your new company
You will be working for a public sector organisation who are based in the Essex area. You will join their property services team who are responsible for the council's housing stock. This is a part time post and will be 18.5 hour week working morning's from Monday's to Friday's.

Your new role
As a Maintenance Surveyor you will be providing assistance to the property services team for the maintenance of social housing stock. You will carry out pre-inspections of the properties and will identify any potential defects and will then raise the schedule of rates order to the contractor. You will then carry out post-inspections to ensure that the repairs have been carried out correctly and to the required high standard.

What you'll need to succeed

You will need experience in a similar or related post within maintenance surveying and ideally in a social housing or local authority environment. It is essential that you hold a minimum of an HNC surveying related qualification.
