Repairs Manager job on a 3 month plus temporary contract
Your new company
You will be working for an Essex based organisation who are responsible for the council's social housing stock and will become an important part of their busy, competent and established responsive repairs team. Your new role
As the Repairs Manager, you will be responsible for managing the repairs team consisting of operatives and supervisors, driving them forward and ensuring repairs have been carried out in accordance to plan and that deadlines have been met. You will be responsible for overseeing the works and delivery of the repairs service, ensuring operatives are meeting their targets and will ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction levels have been met.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need extensive experience of managing a repairs team of supervisors and operatives with experience of managing team budgets. You will need to have a broad knowledge of repairs and maintenance and ideally with a social housing background.
