Revit Technician or Technical Architect
I'm currently working with an exciting practice based in the heart of London in their search for a technically capable Revit proficient Technician or Architect. It's a permanent opportunity with a salary circa £38,000 pa depending on experience.
You'll need at least 3 years PQE to be considered for this one. Of course given the title it's a position that is heavily dependent on your Revit ability and technical prowess. You'll be working within RIBA stage 4 for the most part- putting together detailing packages and construction drawings. Experience of putting together tender packages would also be a useful skill for this one, sound knowledge of UK building regulations is a must. Although Stage 4 will be the main stay you'll also be assisting with planning applications so a solid understand of stages 3 and 4 is a must.
The company have two divisions they are looking to add to. Commercial and residential. The commercial side are currently working on the facades of some large scale London based office buildings so experience on this would be ideal. The main need however is for the residential team where you'll be working on large scale build to rent schemes of around 300 units in size, experience with similar sized projects and apartments would be ideal. On top of this the company have a few hotel conversion schemes they are also working on that require assistance.
Revit is a must, the company do use other softwares such as AutoCAD and SketchUp however this position will almost exclusively be on Revit.
