Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Job (Contract) - Building Services - Hertfordshire

Your new company

A building services specialist consultancy based just north of London. After a sustained period of success they have secured large framework agreements and secured a number of large-scale projects. Due to this success they are constantly developing their team.

Your new role

You will be joining as an experienced building services mechanical design engineer. Providing a lead role on a number of their projects, taking control where required and supporting the directors. You will be very much hands on in regards to design, whilst assisting more junior engineers in their work.

What you'll need to succeed

You will have experience working as a senior mechanical design engineer, ideally within a consultancy environment. You will have experience working on residential or mixed-use projects, as this will take up the bulk of your work. Ideally you will have experience in a client facing role as well.

What you'll get in return

This is a long-term contract, the client is offering an initial 6 months with the outlook to extend long-term. There is also a competitive London rate on offer, ideal for a someone tired of commuting into London but is still commercially motivated.
