Senior Site Manager
Your new company
A Successful Kent Based main contractor now seek a Senior Site Manager to join the Operations team managing one of several new projects. working across both New build and commercial schemes, Sectors include Education, Healthcare, office & High end residential. Works typically fall between the £5 to £20 Million range and encompass of mix of framework contracts and Privately tendered schemes. With a reputation for stability and embracing new technologies they are seeing a continued increase in the orderbook and as such are strengthening existing teams to cope with the future workload.
Your new role
Working as No.1 on site you will be responsible for all site operations including running the operational site team, reporting to a contracts manager you will manage and direct the subcontractors, oversee H&S, Ensure compliance with the contract & design, Manage costs/variations with the QS and be the figurehead for the site liaising with all client and external stakeholders. You will be working with the company's bespoke computer software and ensure fortnightly site reports are complete. You will be involved from Site set-up through to completion and be comfortable running a £5-10 Million Part New build, Part refurb Education scheme.
What you'll need to succeed
You Will Be a Senior site manager or Experienced Site manager looking to progress, you will have a main Contractor background and ideally have worked on new build and/or Refurbishment schemes in The education sector. You will be comfortable Leading the site as a number 1 including the various reporting/meeting that the role entails. You will be fully IT literate and hold valid 1st Aid, CSCS and SMSTS qualifications
