Structural Engineer (almost chartered)

THE ROLE

A great opportunity for an almost chartered STRUCTURAL ENGINEER to join my client, a firm of structural engineering consultants based in the City of London.

You will need to have completed your Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and be keen to progress your career as a Structural Engineer.

You must have at least four years or more experience with another firm of consulting engineers.

You will mainly work on a range of new build structures for offices, plus refurbishment of commercial and residential buildings etc.

THE CANDIDATE

You will need to have a Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering at 2:1 level or higher.

You must have four years or more U.K. experience working as a Structural Engineer with another firm of engineering consultants.

You should be keen to work on a range residential and commercial projects, both new build and refurbishment.

You should be almost chartered.

You will need to have gained experience of detailed design of reinforced concrete, steelwork, masonry and timber building structures plus experience of structural steelwork connection design and detailing plus temporary works design.

You will need good communication skills and have experience of letter and report writing.

You will need experience of site inspection and surveys plus production of drawings and sketches.

Salary will be in the region of £45000 per annum plus a good range of benefits including pension, private medical insurance, income protection, life insurance, season ticket loan and professional subscriptions and more.
