Senior Architect/Associate

An established multi-disciplinary practice based near Watford are currently on the search for a Senior Architect/Associate to work with them on a permanent basis, salary is up to £50,000.

For this position you'll need to have a least 10 years under your belt as a qualified Architect. This position will involved a lot of client facing, you'll be working and liaising with clients on a regular basis so good communication ability is a must as is experience with presenting. You'll be managing a small team from 4-8 individual so management and leadership experience is also an important aspect for this one. Aside from you client facing and management skills you'll be getting involved with the whole design process for a number of projects in the office, taking and developing briefs, working on the conceptual design through to delivery. As mentioned above you'll have a team to assist but will also be required to get involved in the day to day aspects of the job.

The company are a well-established multi-disciplinary practice with a large design team as well as engineers and more so you'll need to be able to coordinate between various teams and people in the office t make sure things runs smoothly. Site experience would be a bonus. You'll be working within various sectors including Laboratories, higher education labs, manufacturing facilities and more- new build as well as refurbishments. An understand of BIM is required, Revit is the main software in use.

Initially there may be some flexibility with working from home and coming into the office, however the expectation is that you'll be in the office the majority of the time. As lock-down eases further you'll be required to be in the office full-time. For peace of mind the company has ensured that they can adhere to the social distancing guidelines.
