Structural Engineer

THE ROLE

A great opportunity for a STRUCTURAL ENGINEER to join our client, a firm of consulting engineers in their COVENTRY office.

The role will include both Design Engineering and Project work for new build, refurbishment and also temporary works.

Projects are varied and include hotels, offices, mixed use developments, colleges, residential and more.

Projects are up to £50m in value so there is a great scope of work.

Our client have an excellent mentoring scheme and ongoing CPD.

THE COMPANY

Our client is a successful firm of structural engineering consultants with several UK offices.

THE CANDIDATE

You will need to have a Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering ideally having gained a 2:1 or a 1st and have around two to four years post graduation experience working as a structural engineer with another firm of consulting engineers ideally.

You should be keen to work towards becoming chartered and have relevant project experience.

You should have gained some experience of Temporary works design and also new build / refurbishment and be keen to work on high value projects.

You will be keen to work on projects across a variety of building types.

Our client will offer an ambitious candidate excellent prospects to become chartered and move up within the firm.

Salary in the range of £27000 to £35000 slightly negotiable, pension and other benefits.
