Calco has an exciting opportunity for an experienced HSEQ Advisor to join a leading National Construction Group. This is role is covering Leeds and adjacent areas as the business requires.

Reporting to the Head of HSEQ, this role will see you take responsibility for contributing to the delivery of high quality and effective Health & Safety advice to a consistent standard. The chosen HSEQ Advisor will ideally have experience of delivering HSEQ within a Construction/ Fit-Out environment and have experience of multi-site work. ?Ensure that all Health & Safety policies, procedures, rules and regulations are adhered to and are regularly reviewed, updated and communicated
?Carry out risk assessments and completing method statements
?Conducting HSEQ Training and Toolbox Talks
?Carry out regular site inspections to check policies and procedures are being properly implemented
?Assisting with the maintenance of awards including ISO18001/9001
?Make changes to working practices that are safe and comply with legislation
?Assist in preparing health and safety strategies and developing internal policy
?Keep records of inspection findings and producing reports that suggest improvements
?Ensure that all accidents are documented, investigated and recommended improvements implemented
?Keep up to date with new legislation and maintain a working knowledge of all Health and Safety Executive (HSE)


?NEBOSH General as a minimum or equivalent

Must have worked on construction fit-out projects
?Must have UK experience
?Strong customer service skills
?Must be able to work alone as-well as part of a team
?Attention to detail is important
