They are RICS accredited and a s practice, also employ Quantity Surveyors, Managers Project Managers, Employer's Agents, Building Surveyors, CDM Advisor/Principal Designer Advisors and Sustainability Experts.
Your new role
Due to continued growth my client is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join the Southern Region Surveying team. The successful candidate is required to be able to demonstrate and provide professional advice on property and construction across a wide variety of sectors. Due to continued expansion, your new employer are looking for a candidate that possesses some already good experience in a similar role. You will be working alongside a range of other passionate and committed team members that will support you every step of the way. In your new role, you will be tasked with a range of duties such as preparation of budget estimates, cost plans and tender documentation. You will prepare contract, arrange post-contract valuations, and negotiate final accounts. You could be involved in project management also, helping to deliver the clients objectives, chair meetings and attend site progress meetings.
What you'll need to succeed
You should ideally have some previous experience in a similar role working within a consultancy environment although candidates at all levels will be considered that have the right experience mix. You should have a logical and practical mind and be able to demonstrate outstanding communication skills both oral and written. As ever, an ability to present reports and information from your surveying is essential and you should both be PC literate and have a full UK driving licence.
